Gypsy Gold is owned and run by Dennis and Erin Thompson.  They are the original importers of the Gypsy Vanner Horse breed to America.  Dennis and his late wife Cindy established the Gypsy Vanner Horse Society in 1996 after importing the founding 16 horses.  Gypsy Gold is a breeding farm, having 25+ years of genetics in their breeding program.  They give tours several times a week, teaching about the breed and the gypsy people who created the breed.
